“Revival & Survival in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”

• After the COVID-19 pandemic, hyperconnectivity and superintelligence, characteristics of the fourth industrial revolution, such as accelerating an "Ontact" society where social distancing is always connected and expanding beyond online, are approaching a wider range, faster, and greater impact. In addition, students of the MZ generation, "mobile and SNS, self-centered thinking, experience and value pursuit," which is different from the existing generation, are becoming our missionary targets. The acceptance of the trend of the times and new technologies in universities is increasing, and fundamental things other than the SDA education ideology must be changed to accommodate change. Accordingly, Sahmyook University is to host LEADERS FORUM with an intention to create a "future created together" rather than living in an "accepted future" by sharing the current issues of each university through the SDA University President's Forum.
• (1) Revival: The Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message (Acts 10:44) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28)
• (3) Survival: I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves (Matthew 10:16) No matter how many wagons are connected, it does not become a railroad.(Schumpeter Joseph, 1883-1951)
• (4) The Fourth Industrial Revolution: The fourth industrial revolution is characterized by hyperconnectivity and superintelligence. It represents a current era with a significant impact, operating at a faster speed and wider scope than previous paradigms. This period marks the convergence of the physical, digital, and biological worlds, ushering in a new industrial age that affects the economy, society, and all areas of the Adventist Church. Therefore, it is crucial for the Adventist church to spread the message effectively and urgently to the ends of the earth, in order to reach as many people as possible.
